Service Description

Does your little one love Princess stories, yet you cringe a little when the woman's worth is defined by how she's perceived by men? Children easily gravitate towards all things Fairytale, and there's a lot to be celebrated, but also a lot to be updated. Boys and girls are capable of the same things, and deserve the same amount of "cookie" for their equal efforts! All genders are invited as we rewrite some classic tales, giving their story a makeover while celebrating what it means to be a princess/prince/leader. Creating our own kingdom, dancing a more affirming "Mirror, Mirror" chant, and adapting the progressive story "Paper Bag Princess" into dance theatre is all included in this lively camp! Our time together ends with an informal performance in full royalty regalia!
