Dance Olympics!

Service Description

Celebrate athletes all over the world by engaging in your very own olympics! Dancers will perform in the opening ceremonies, then compete in various movement challenges. Creative Movement will be the main genre here, with dips into Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, and Basic Gymnastics. We won't be dong these sports in actuality, but rather an abstract dance-version of them. For example, with synchronized diving, students will bring a stuffed animal then created their epic dive with a partner - gravity has no hold on us in this event! Students will be the judges, the athletes, and the rockstar performers at the ceremonies. Come flex your dance muscles! Everyone wins!

Cancellation Policy

Inclement weather cancellations will follow Portland Public Schools.
