Sleeping Beauty the Ballet!

Service Description

In this imaginative camp we combine the arts of Ballet and Storytelling, dipping our pointed toes into the classic tale "Sleeping Beauty". Students will have a chance to dance out each role, create their own fairy and bestow their own gift on the Princess, and create costume/set pieces! In just a week we will put on a full production, with both freestyle dancing to Tchaikovsky as well as learning choreography, playing movement games, refining our Ballet technique, and having a blast! This camp ends with an informal performance sure to wake you from a 100-year nap!

Cancellation Policy

Inclement weather cancellations will follow Portland Public Schools.
