Winter 2023 Ballet I

Service Description

This class builds on basic ballet positions and movements to incorporate more work in the center and across the floor. Students are readily using dance vocabulary and understanding it's meaning, enhancing their creative expression through imaginative prompts and movement games, and encouraging class members. Weekly class will be held indoors with health screenings. Distancing and masks will be decided from a client survey sent to all enrolled. This session also features a Recital Sunday 6/5 in the late afternoon, where all classes gather outdoors to show off the dances they've been working on! And get applause from an enthusiastic, supportive audience! There is a $10 fee per student for the Recital, which is free to audience members (donations accepted).

Cancellation Policy

Inclement weather cancellations will follow Portland Public Schools.
